Keep your vehicle’s air quality fresh and your A/C system running efficiently with this professional evaporator cleaning kit. This two-step process removes accumulated debris, mold, and road grime from deep inside the A/C evaporator, followed by a disinfectant to eliminate odors.

Quick Start Guide & Tips:

1. Preparation

Safety First: Always wear eye protection and gloves.
Setup: Attach the provided applicator tube to the Frigi-Clean can.
Check the Drain: Locate your vehicle’s A/C drain tube and ensure it isn’t clogged so the cleaning foam can exit the vehicle properly.

2. Accessing the Evaporator

Ensure the vehicle and A/C are OFF.
Best Access: Remove your cabin air filter and feed the tube toward the evaporator coils.
Alternate Access: If you don't have a cabin filter, you can reach the coils by temporarily removing the blower motor or the A/C temperature sensor.
Note: Ensure the tube is positioned past the blower motor to protect the fan electronics.

3. The Cleaning Process

Shake the can vigorously.
Spray the foam onto the evaporator. Do not allow the foam to back up into the blower fan motor.
Let the foam work its way through the coils and drain out of the vehicle.

4. Rinsing & Refreshing

Reinstall any components you removed.
Start the engine. Set A/C to MAX COLD, Fan to HIGH, and select OUTSIDE AIR (not recirculate).
Let it run until the draining stops.
Pro Tip: For a deeper clean, let the foam soak for 10 minutes with the engine off before the final high-fan blast.

5. Final Deodorizing

While the A/C is still running on "Outside Air," spray BG Frigi-Fresh (PN 7083) into the exterior intake vents (fresh air cowling).
Let the vehicle air out for 30 minutes before driving.
