Product Overview
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME PRODUCT.
Multiple days out in the desert. Near instant elimination of the fogging up of my sunglasses and zero intrusion of dust into the helmet. Tons of air coming in for both myself and my co-dawg. 100% recommended!

DEMAND BETTER
With conventional helmet blowers, you start the day or race with good airflow, but throughout the day, the filter starts to clog and choke off the airflow to your helmet right when you need it most. With S&B’s Helmet Particle Separator, you get the same great airflow to your helmet all the time as there is no filter to clog.
That’s right, the Helmet Particle Separator removes 99.36% of the dust without even having a filter. Using the same technology used by military helicopters to land in the desert, the vortexes spin the air throwing the dust particles to the side wall of the vortexes where it is ejected by the scavenge fan.
VARIABLE SPEED CONTROLLER
Our Helmet Particle Separator comes standard with a variable speed controller giving you precise control over the amount of cool clean air entering your helmet.
FRESH AIR FOR 2 HELMETS
With dual port outlets, you can feed fresh air to two helmets. Riding solo? The Helmet Particle separator comes with rubber caps integrated into the system to prevent loss and seal the unused outlet. Hoses sold separately in 3 different lengths. Helmets not included!
S&B VS. THE COMPETITION
CFM COMPARISON
When it is dusty, a helmet blower can ingest 100 grams of dust in no time at all. With traditional systems, this clogs the filter and chokes off the airflow to your helmet. The Helmet Particle Separator ejects 99.36% of the dust without a filter, so you get the same great airflow all day long.
EFFICIENCY RATE
Even without a traditional filter, S&B's Helmet Particle Separator maintains a high efficiency rate in order to keep clean air pumping into your helmet. ISO Coarse Dust was utilized for testing in a climate controlled laboratory with one (1) 6-ft hose attached.
AIR PRESSURE RATE
The best way to evaluate systems is to compare the CFM rate as the system ingests dusty air as shown above. That being said, our competition likes to refer to pressure, so we have included those numbers as well. Using a digital manometer, we have measured the max air pressure produced by fresh air helmet blowers. Max air pressure is measured when the air flow is O and the blower pushes the air in an enclosed chamber. The pressure is then measured in the enclosed chamber.
HELMET NOISE COMPARISON
Our Helmet Particle Separator keeps you cool with a minimal amount of "air noise," so you can stay focused on the trail. The variable speed control knob allows you to adjust the CFM rate if you want an even quieter ride. Sound was measured using an Extech model 407764 sound meter with the microphone in the ear pocket of an Impact Air Draft OS20 Helmet (Size XL) worn by a mannequin head.
Caution: The S&B Helmet Separator is not a respiratory system and is not capable of filtering 100% of particulate matter, including dust. Dust, dirt, and other particulates may be inhaled by the user while using this device.
